A Week of SAMHSA-funded Suicide Prevention Innovation at VCOM
Thanks to a 3-year suicide prevention grant from SAMHSA, this week marked a milestone in suicide prevention training for medical education. At the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Spartanburg, South Carolina, we brought together national experts, physicians, clinical psychologists, and medical students to create immersive, simulation based modules.
