Integrated Clinical Triage Platform for Athlete Mental Health and Suicide Prevention
From 2023-2025, a large Division I university implemented Sharpen® DTX, a digital care coordination and therapeutics platform combining universal mental health and suicide risk screening (CAT-MH®) with peer-focused mental health literacy and athlete wellness modules. Over 3 years 1,275 student-athletes completed the program. 9.9% were flagged for elevated suicide risk and received same-day clinical triage via Sharpen dashboard. Download full white paper.

A Week of SAMHSA-funded Suicide Prevention Innovation at VCOM
Thanks to a 3-year suicide prevention grant from SAMHSA, this week marked a milestone in suicide prevention training for medical education. At the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine (VCOM) in Spartanburg, South Carolina, we brought together national experts, physicians, clinical psychologists, and medical students to create immersive, simulation based modules.
